Can’t stop thinking about your ex?

Checking their profile, rereading old messages, replaying what went wrong, hoping they’ll get in touch. Missing someone after a break-up is normal. But sometimes months or even years go by and the pull hasn’t eased, and it starts to get in the way of moving on.

Signs you’re stuck

  • You check their social media most days
  • You reread old messages or look at old photos
  • You compare everyone new to them
  • You still hope they’ll come back, even though you know it’s over

How hypnotherapy helps

Adam Cox, clinical hypnotherapist

When a relationship ends, your mind keeps reaching for the person who used to be your source of comfort, a bit like any other habit. In our sessions we work on that pull, help you make peace with what happened and build a picture of a future that doesn’t revolve around them.

It won’t erase your memories, and it doesn’t do the work for you. What it can do is make letting go feel possible.

If you need support now

If you’re struggling to cope, talk to your GP, or call Samaritans free on 116 123, any time of day or night.

If an ex is frightening you, threatening you or won’t leave you alone, call the National Domestic Abuse Helpline free on 0808 2000 247, open 24 hours. In an emergency, call 999.

Common questions

How many sessions will I need?

Many people feel a shift after one 90 minute session. If the relationship was long or the break-up was painful, three sessions gives us more room.

I’ve been stuck for years. Is it too late?

No. How long you’ve felt this way doesn’t decide how quickly things can change.

How do sessions work?

We meet one to one over Zoom, and you get a recording of the hypnosis to listen to afterwards.

Ready to start?

Book a £49 consultation call and we’ll talk through what’s keeping you stuck, or take the free check at the top of this page first.
